The brief
Van der Vis offers many different trades, from plumbing to landscaping. The website had to present all of that clearly, build trust with homeowners and businesses, and lead visitors quickly to a quote request or a phone call.
The approach
Instead of an off-the-shelf WordPress theme, I built a custom theme tailored to Van der Vis's look and services. Every trade has its own page, so customers find what they need straight away and each service can be found in Google on its own. There are also pages for the 24/7 emergency service and for subsidies and sustainability, and the service area in South Holland is clearly shown.

The website scores excellently in Google Lighthouse: 97 for performance, 100 for accessibility, 96 for best practices and 100 for SEO (desktop). So the site loads fast, works well for everyone and gives Google everything it needs.
